Notes from Mr. Jemmett:

Christine Anderson & Peter Burns are not on any of the photographs for some reason. It is more than likely that they did not go Youth Hostelling, and were away on holiday for the School Trip to York and on the last day at school, which is a pity. Diane Soulsby is only on the odd photograph. (So am I, sir!! Author)

Some children shown did not go to PGTS, but went on to Acre Rigg Modern School and into the tender care of Mr. Percy Wylam, Mr. Alan Sanderson & Mr. George Cuthbertson. I still see the latter frequently as we have been friends from our own school days!
